For our blood pressure monitor? We went with the SX1276. It wasn't the sexy choice. It wasn't the cutting-edge choice. But it was the right choice for Jackie's team, our timeline, and our certification requirements.
And honestly? That's the real lesson. A vendor who says "this isn't our strength—here's who does it better" earns my trust for everything else. Semtech might have two chips, but only one was right for us. And that's okay.
